In order to help business school students understand the fast changing complex global demands of organizations in international business, we conceptualized an international business risk comprehension word mapping game using LinkedIn platform. This experiential game simulates real-life business situations and explores risks and complexities in the global environment. The game was played over two semesters with 273 undergraduate students enrolled in various programs (supply chain management, marketing, management, accounting, and information systems) across three business schools in the United States. The game was played over five weeks each semester after mid-term when students comprehended basic concepts in their respective courses. The feedback received from participating students was qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed using a text analysis software. The results revealed four factors (related to political and geo-political (P); economic (E); socio-cultural (S); and technological (T)) and their associated themes. The themes provided an understanding of the risks associated with globalization and international business from the perspective of different functional areas of supply chain, marketing, management, accounting, and information systems.
