The following mini-case discusses the efforts of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), an organization focused on minimizing poverty, inequality, disease, and mortality among children. The case highlights UNICEF's efforts to end child marriage in Niger as well as the various cultural, economic, and educational issues in sub-Saharan Africa. By so doing, the case discusses the complexity and challenges in working with various stakeholders in a foreign country.
