Organizations are now creating more “work groups” to capitalize on the notion that teams can accomplish more together than the individuals can alone. The proliferation of workplace teams thus predicates the inclusion of team training in both business school and organizational curriculum. The training exercise delineated in this paper will provide students and practitioners with the tools to foster team building in their own organizations. This exercise facilitates the acquisition of vital teamwork concepts and creates an environment in which team bonding can occur. Additionally, it will allow participants an opportunity for introspection and self-regulation regarding their own abilities to work in a team.
